I have come full circle.
I grew up in Avalon Catalina Island, playing guitar under the beach palms,
diving for coins thrown by all the wonderful smiling happy tourists.
I learned how to shape surfboards as a teen in Santa Barbara.
Then started to play guitar seriously.
Jazz (Berklee College of Music), Rock, New Wave, Theatre Musicals,
Funk bands (I sharpened my chops from da best - all black except for me lol),
I then quit pro music to raise my family. Jumped back in 2010 to the best success of my career.
I've come full circle since my glorious childhood island style days on Catalina. 

"I've shared the big stage with Van Halen, Judas Priest, the Beach Boys, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, 
The Pretenders, Toto, Pablo Cruise, Hall & Oates, Huey Lewis & the News, Rick Springfield, Humble Pie, Sex Pistols
and performed on NBC/CBS/ABC/MTV,
was even on Warner Bros records and under contract to The Beach Boys,
won multiple music awards, songs in movies,
and none of that as much FUN as playing my ukulele and guitar
